New Project Funding
New project proposals may be submitted to the local CoC as a response to Requests for Proposals (RFP) that reflect local funding priorities. These funding priorities are adopted by the CoC Governing Council after receiving input from the community.

We appreciate your interest and work to end homelessness in New Orleans, Jefferson Parish and Kenner. We are stronger as a community through the collaboration of community partners like yours.
Requests for Proposals
Proposal Due Date
All New Project proposals in response to RFPs shall be submitted through UNITY's Application Portal no later than 12 noon on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
All funding opportunities are open to non-profit and government organizations that are not current recipients of CoC funding, including faith-based organizations and substance use treatment providers.

Information Session
July 1, 2026 - 1 pm
Please attend the CoC Competition Information Session on Wednesday, July 1st at 1pm to learn more about new funding opportunities.
This meeting will provide information on new Requests for Proposals (RFPs) that will be released on Monday, June 29th. RFPs will include opportunities for new projects to provide Transitional Housing, Supportive Services, and DV projects for Survivors experiencing homelessness.
This will be held in-person in the 1st Floor Annex Conference Room at 2475 Canal Street, New Orleans.
