2026 CoC Builds Funding Competition

HUD published the Continuum of Care Builds (CoC Builds) NOFO on June 23, 2026 to solicit proposals for the development of new units of permanent supportive housing (PSH) to assist people experiencing homelessness.

Our community has an opportunity to apply for $12 million to fund one or more projects through this initiative.

Interested applicants should respond to UNITY's Request for Proposals by noon on Friday, July 17th.  

UNITY of Greater New Orleans is the collaborative applicant for the CoC and coordinates the local application for submission to HUD for the homeless Continuum of Care (CoC) in New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and Kenner (LA-503).
